Disney Parks Loungefly Bags Review: Are they the Best Disney Park Bags?
When it comes to Disney park bags, the options are seemingly endless. From backpacks to crossbody bags, there is a bag for every Disney lover’s personal style. One brand that has become increasingly popular among Disney fans is Loungefly.
Loungefly Bags make some of the best Disney Park Bags- even though they are smaller than the average backpack. With their vibrant colors, heavy character theming, and beautiful prints, these bags add an extra touch of fun to your Disney vacation. They are great for Disney bounding too!
These fan-favorite bags have become super popular among Disney enthusiasts and Disney park-goers around the world. The collectible bags feature iconic Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars characters, and intricate designs and are well-made. In this blog post, we will explore and review Disney Parks Loungefly bags, and how to use them as park bags!
1. What are Disney Parks Loungefly bags?
If you haven’t heard of Loungefly bags let’s start from the beginning. They are typically mini backpacks, but this brand also makes cross-body bags. They are made by the Loungefly company of vegan leather and have detailed stitching, with inside pockets, outside pockets, and side pockets. The Disney Parks versions feature Disney characters, films, and park icons.
2. Where can you buy Disney Parks Loungefly Bags?
Loungefly
Loungefly bags are available on many different sites and in the Disney Parks merchandise stores. The biggest selection of Loungefly bags can be found on Loungefly.com under fandom. They typically have the best seasonal bags on their own site.
Shop Disney (now the Disney Store)
DisneyStore.com also offers a wide selection of Disney Parks Loungefly Bags- from Pixar to Parks-themed bags, to Star Wars or Marvel characters. You can also find seasonal sales and save money if you have a Disney visa card, or use a Disney gift card to buy your favorite Loungefly bag.
Her Universe
Another great site to purchase Disney Parks Loungefly bags is HerUniverse. Started by Ashley Eckstein, self-proclaimed Disney superfan and voice of Ahsoka on the animated Star Wars Rebels series, HerUniverse.com, offers many fandom-related options (so many universes are on this site). There are many Loungeflys on this awesome site, as well as themed clothing and all kinds of fun merch!
Box Lunch
BoxLunch is also a great option for Loungeflys, which has actual physical locations in many cities but offers even more online options. You can save money on future Boxlunch purchases by collecting BoxLunch dollars, and they also offer many seasonal sales if you get on their email list.
Amazon
Amazon offers a wide selection of Disney Loungefly bags as well! Keep an eye out for Prime “day” (not an actual “day” anymore) deals and sales to save some cash.
Exclusive Loungefly Bags at Disney Parks
And, finally, there are certain exclusive Disney Loungefly backpacks only available at Disney Parks merchandise shops. Often surrounded by lots of hype, these bags may sell out quickly at first, but they often get restocked so there’s no need to rush to get them (usually).
3. How much can you fit into a Disney Loungefly Backpack?
More than you think! I used to be a full-sized backpack devotee, thinking Loungefly backpacks were way too small and way too much of a luxury. Ok, I wholeheartedly admit I was wrong.
You can now call me a Disney Loungefly convert! I use Loungefly’s as my park bag on most Disney Parks visits (when the kids were younger and I had to carry all of their stuff, I did have to carry a big full-sized backpack, though, so I get it if you need a larger backpack).
Here’s what I fit into my Loungefly Park Bag:
- Sunglasses
- Hand Sanitizer
- Lip Balm
- Mini-fan (during the warmer months, most months in Florida that is…)
- Cooling Towel
- Liquid IV or electrolyte tabs
- Mini First Aid kit
- Lightweight Hoodie
- Portable Cell Phone charger or Fuelrod (you will need this as the all-day use of My Disney Experience will drain your battery fast) and charging cords
- Sunscreen
- Poncho or small umbrella, depending on the weather
- Wallet
- Pens, a small mini notebook, and sometimes even MadLibs (to help break up the boredom of a long queue)
- Minnie Ears (I also have a clip on the outside of my bag that holds them)
So, as you can see, you pack quite a bit into these “mini” backpacks, and they are so much fun! The formed structure on the bag makes it easier for them to hold more and the side pockets are handy for smallish refillable water bottles. The front zip pocket is great for keys, magic bands, your wallet, cell phone/charger, and sunglasses.
They are water-resistant so they work well on rides where you get wet or on a rainy day (pretty much any day in Florida). The straps are also more comfortable than some larger backpacks, and you don’t have a sore back after wearing one of these all day!
The Wrap Up
Disney Loungefly bags are more than just accessories; they are a way to showcase your love for an adorable Disney character, or favorite fandom. So, go ahead and indulge in the world of Disney Loungefly bags – you won’t be disappointed!
What’s your favorite Disney park bag style? Do you carry a small bag, mini-back pack, or a full sized backpack? Or do you go without a park bag? I would love to hear more in the comments!
