Trying to eat Gluten Free at Disney Springs? It’s easy! Check out the best Gluten Free eats at Disney Springs.
Eating gluten free at Disney Springs is so easy, just like it is in the rest of Walt Disney World.
For those of you new to Walt Disney World, or if you haven’t visited in a while, Disney Springs is a shopping, dining, and entertainment destination, located at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Disney Springs offers many options for those with dietary restrictions, and you can search most menus ahead of time on the My Disney Experience App (choose your restaurant, scroll down to the bottom of the menus, and choose the Allergy menus).
Must-try Gluten Free Disney Springs options
1. Down Home Gluten Free options at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
This restaurant offers up some delicious, Southern flare food, and their gluten free menu does not disappoint! They make a mean gluten free avocado toast.
They also offer some Southern home-cooked staples in gluten free versions like grits, fried green tomatoes, sweet potato casserole, mac n cheese, and of course all of the protein options to go with them. And you won’t want to miss their fun cocktail menu.
2. Small Plates and Wine Pairing Gluten Free Disney Springs Options at Wine Bar George
If you want to grab a glass of wine and want an array of small dish delicious options then Wine Bar George is your place!
Created and actively managed (George is there quite often) by Master Sommelier George Milotes, they have an extensive wine menu (of course) and some gluten free small plate options that make great pairings.
I love the charcuterie board (without meat), and the nonvegetarians I go with love the pan-shaped scallops with corn puree and bacon jam, and the grilled hangar steak with roasted garlic butter and herb fries. Wine Bar George is usually pretty quiet in the early evening or afternoon hours, and offers a great view upstairs.
3. Fun, themed Gluten Free snacks at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar
I love the theming at this Indiana Jones sidekick bar (check out the seating on Reggie’s boat). They have an amazing bar and well-themed lounge, and their outside seating is on the water. The Jock Lindsey’s menu is simple but good and offers some creative cocktails and yummy gluten free snacks and appetizers like the Queso Fundido that can be made gluten free. This Disney Springs gem can also prepare many of their entrees gluten free and offer dishes like the Peruvian Flank Steak or Temple of Bacon (I love this name) that are naturally gluten free.
I like that they offer a gluten free cracker option with their fruit and cheese board, as well as delicious gluten free brownies. Jock Lindsey’s offers gluten free buns or bread for their burgers and sandwiches, as well as gluten free beer (which can be hard to find on vacation).
4. Yummy Gluten Free Burgers: D- Luxe Burger
In the mood for a good burger at Disney Springs? Note that D-Luxe burger offers gluten free bun options for any of their burgers!
They have a variety of delicious burgers including a bacon and bleu burger, and a barbeque burger. Menu items also include chicken sandwiches that can be served on the gluten free bun.
If you are eating low carb you could opt for a lettuce wrap. And you can safely order french fries there too!
5. Blaze Pizza
Wow, do I wish they had a Blaze Pizza where I live! They not only have gluten-free crusts, but also low carb cauliflower crusts, gluten free sauces, cheese, and several toppings. It’s such a treat to go somewhere and know you have so many choices. And it’s so easy and quite affordable compared to the other sit-down restaurants at Disney Springs.
I find Blaze Pizza to be especially helpful for those with multiple allergies or those who are vegan, as you can pick and choose what you want to put on your pizza.
6. Gluten Free Disney Springs Treats at Erin Mckenna’s Bakery
Erin McKenna’s Bakery is a 100% gluten free and vegan bakery with so many amazing allergy friendly choices!
Choose from a mouth-watering variety of cupcakes, donuts, breads, cookies, and birthday cakes! They also have bagels and cinnamon rolls too, and all are free of gluten, dairy, eggs, soy and peanuts.
My son and I have food intolerances and it’s so refreshing to be able to pick out anything we want at a bakery! We had a hard time choosing and the treats were fantastic.
7. Delicious Gluten Free Asian inspired options at Morimoto’s Asia
Asian cuisine is often easier for those of us with gluten intolerance or allergy, and Morimoto’s offers up some tasty options! There are many gluten free options here including sushi rolls (just be sure to talk with your server about getting Tamari instead of soy sauce), sesame balls, pad thai, wok fry shrimp, pho ga, edamame, and even 5 spice chicken wings. You have to be careful with chicken wings when you eat gluten free as they can be battered, so it’s great they have this on their allergy friendly menu.
My favorite is Pad Thai, as well as their stir fry and sushi options that can be made gluten free.
As always it’s important to know that cross-contamination can exist so talk with the server wherever you choose to eat to be sure they understand your unique allergy or intolerance. Disney Springs gluten free options do not disappoint, and Walt Disney World in general always has allergy menus and plenty of gluten free options.
Disney Springs is a great place to visit on your non-park days, evenings, or on your travel days if you don’t feel you can handle a full park day! This area is also so beautiful during the holidays, be sure to check out the tree trail!
This post was all about Gluten Free Disney Springs options- both quick service and table service restaurants.
